The roots of The Kanjirappally Ayurveda Pharmacy go back more than nine generations, beginning at the Vattamattam family, residing in the Meenachil Taluk of Pala. In 1915, Sri V. K. Govindan Vaidyar, a highly respected Ayurvedic physician, established the pharmacy in Kanjirappally. Known for his expertise in Ayurveda and allied therapies, he became a trusted name in the region, and even today, the institution is fondly remembered as “Govindan Vaidyar’s Vaidyashala.”
The tradition was carried forward by his sons, V. G. Sreedharan Vaidyar and V. G. Shasidharan Vaidyar With his deep knowledge and dedication, V G Shasidharan Vaidyar guided the institution to remarkable growth and recognition. Today the legacy continues under the leadership of Dr Shero S, who manages both pharmacy and clinic. With over a century of tradition, the Kanjirappally Ayurveda Pharmacy remains committed to delivering authentic ayurvedic care, blending time-tested wisdom with modern dedication to health and healing.
