The roots of The Kanjirappally Ayurveda Pharmacy go back more than nine generations, beginning at the Vattamattam family, residing in the Meenachil Taluk of Pala. In 1915, Sri V. K. Govindan Vaidyar, a highly respected Ayurvedic physician, established the pharmacy in Kanjirappally. Known for his expertise in Ayurveda and allied therapies, he became a trusted name in the region, and even today, the institution is fondly remembered as “Govindan Vaidyar’s Vaidyashala.”
